Falcon and Lady Falcon track kicked off the year yesterday in Plainview at the Coach Bill Bulldog Relays. Coming off a season where the Falcons took their 4x100m relay and the Lady Falcons had their 4x100m and 4x200m relay teams to State expectations are high coming into 2024.
The Lady Falcons got things started in the running events with the 4x100m relay.
4x100m Relays
The Lady Falcons took the Silver running a 49.23.

The reigning State Silver Medal winning 4x100 Falcon were up next. The team of Slade Perry, Tanner Adams, Breckan Hall and Easton Fuentes took the Gold medal in a time of 43.01 which was faster than last years district championship time of 43.20.
800m Run
800m run was up next.
Nichole Spohn took 12th with a 2:52.24.
Boys 800m run
Jenner King took 4th with a 2:06
Kason Koenig took 16th with a 2:24.62
100m Hurdles
Mykaela Junell took 7th with a 19.48
Baylee Long took 11th with a 22.15

Next up was one of the most talked about races of the day as the fastest man in 3A Tanner Adams took to the track for the 100m.
Tanner took 1st with a 10.77
Slade Perry took 9th with an 11.91

4x200m Relay
A new look Lady Falcon 4x200m Relay was up next as Kenley King, Bella Babbitt, Taylor Miller and Sloane Hale took home the Silver medal in a time of 1:50.19.
The Falcons did not field a boys 4x200m relay
400m Dash
Next us was one of the awesome stories of the day as Freshman Jaralyn Watson originally scheduled to run JV stepped into an opening in the 400m and went out and placed 6th with a time of 1:06.84

To close out the meet for the Lady Falcons team of Taylor Miller, Belle Babbitt, Ashby Graham and Joscelin Watson took home the bronze medal in a time of 4:23.80.
Next up the Falcons team of Slade Perry, Easton Fuentes, Jake Hammer and Parker Liles took home the bronze in a time of 3:40.26.
